Save Your Health Naturally

I know, this is easier said than done. But long-term, chronic stress is harmful to your health, and the health of your immune system. Eliminating the cause of stress is of course most effective, so disassociating from the toxic people or situations in your life that are causing you upset is a great first step. But this is not always possible, so learning how to cope with stress becomes essential. Our breath is one of the most powerful tools we have been blessed with. Use it to help your body and mind relax: take a slow, deep breath in (when you breathe deeply your abdomen should expand, not your chest), hold for a few seconds, then gradually release through the mouth. Meditation is great for creating inner peace and calm while breathing try repeating a calming phrase or word, even if you just do this for a minute or two once or twice a day. Positive energy is very contagious. If you are nice to others, they will be nice to you. Have you ever held a door open for someone? How about smiled at a stranger at the mall? Forget about that mounting to-do list, the fight you had with your best pal, or your Facebook update or Twitter account. Take time out to get back to the present moment. Withrow uses this exercise to help patients be more mindful. She asks them to list five things they see, hear, feel, smell or taste. Doing this helps pause worrying and refocuses attention on the present moment.Another way Withrow suggests we be more mindful is by paying attention to our inner dialogue. A lot of our thoughts are like the acronym for FEAR: false evidence appearing real. If you can learn to be mindful of your thoughts and think more objectively, it can have a positive impact on your behavior and your life.

I used to eat until I was full, and then snack as a hobby. And, sometimes I still do. But, more and more, I decide when I've eaten enough, leave room for a treat later, and simply choose to eat a little less. You could also try to eat small frequent meals. That means eating smaller portions at smaller intervals.

Eating out can actually make you eat more calories and usually more than 300 calories. Should take food from the house or if you go to restaurant, wrap and eat at home to avoid "hungry eyes". This trick will not only cut down your calorie intake but this could also help you save a lot of money.

Snacks are a great way to refuel. Choose snacks from different food groups - a glass of low-fat milk and a few graham crackers, an apple or celery sticks with peanut butter and raisins, or some dry cereal. If you eat smart at other meals, cookies, chips and candy are OK for occasional snacking.

Do you want to know how to get rid of fatigue quickly? Here's how you do it. Stand up upright. Inhale deeply, lifting the arm upward, followed by slowly exhale while bending the body until the hands touch the floor. Then inhale again and release. Return to starting position and repeat 3 times.

Keep a record of the food you eat to find out if you are eating healthy or not. No tampering, please. A review of your daily food intake would help you realize how much, or little, sugar you are ingesting everyday. Through this, you could keep track of your diet better.
