Anemia, thyroid disease, lupus, and diabetes can all cause hair loss. If you leave these health issues untreated, they can seriously affect your overall well-being. If you are losing hair, this may be a minor concern in lieu of the other complications that can occur with one of these illnesses. Needless to say, it's imperative that you receive the proper treatment for whatever illness or disease you are afflicted with. Normally, if you are coming down with an illness or disease, you will experience other symptoms besides hair loss. If this is the case, visit your doctor right away to find out what the symptoms mean.

Do not become alarmed if you see that you have slight hair loss. But, try to look at the situation rationally and decide why this is happening. If you have any doubts, seek medical advice. Usually, experiencing hair loss is not a bad thing. But, become proactive and find out the cause anyway.

Once you find out that nothing serious is wrong with you, then you can decide how you are going to live with your hair loss.
